The ability to feel anxious is something that is built into our neurological system. When we feel anxious, we prevent ourselves from taking risks which may result in harm to ourselves and/or others.
Feeling anxious can stop us from doing many things.
Anxiety and fear often go hand in hand. An anxious person will be fearful of the consequences of their actions, and this stops them from doing what they would like to do.
Anxiety and fear are both useful emotions at the appropriate time and place.
An anxious person will feel such emotions either most of the time or in specific situations.
To effectively deal with anxiety you need to address what it is that is causing you to feel anxious. If you are unable to change what is causing your anxiety, then there are ways in which you can learn how to cope with it.
Ashby Talking Therapies anxiety treatment sessions will help you with both of the above, there is no need to continue to suffer as help is available. Contact Marion on 07551 846468 or email marionmcgeough@gmail.com
